Oct 10, 2008
Author: M Bruns

On October 10, at approximately 5:15 pm, Huber Heights Police Officers along with fire and EMS units from Huber Heights, Vandalia and Butler Township, were sent to Taylorsville Road at Bridgewater Road on the report of a multiple vehicle crash. Upon arrival officers found a head on crash involving two cars. A total of seven people including juveniles were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and Children’s Medical Center. Their conditions ranged from minor to serious. The accident was caused by a red pickup truck towing a yellow piece of equipment (possibly a bobcat or trencher) occupied by two white males. Their vehicle was southbound on Bridgewater, and lost control, crossing left of center and heading east in the westbound lane of Taylorsville. A car traveling westbound on Taylorsville Road swerved left of center to miss the pickup and struck an eastbound car head on. The driver and passenger in the red pickup left the scene eastbound on Taylorville. Huber Heights police accident investigators are investigating. No charges have yet been filed.
