Accident I-70 Westbound at Exit 36

On April 25, at approximately 1230pm, Huber Heights Police Officers and EMS crews were sent to I-70 Westbound at exit 36 on the report of a multiple vehicle crash. Upon arrival officers found two tractor trailers and a camper towing a car behind it that had collided. The camper was smashed between the concrete divider and a semi tractor, pinning the two occupants in their camper for a short while. No injuries were reported. I-70 Westbound` was closed for approximately four hours and traffic was rerouted. The ODOT, OSP assisted with traffic control and the rerouting of the heavy volume of vehicles. It is unknown at his time what caused the crash. Preliminary indications are that merging and driver inattention may be possible causes. Huber Heights officers are conducting the investigation.
