K9 Lex Passes Away

The Huber Heights Police Division sadly announces the passing of K-9 Lex. K-9 Lex succumbed to a sudden illness on 1-20-07 after just two months of service. Though K-9 Lex and Officer Wertz were a team for only a short time, the team had immediate success. K-9 Lex had numerous drug arrests and one criminal apprehension in his short tenure. K-9 Lex will be sadly missed by his handler and by all members of the police division. Memorial plans are currently underway.
