Traffic Crash / SR 4 @ Adams Rd

On 12-18-2006 at approximately 21:45 hours, the Huber Heights Police Division responded to the intersection of northbound State Route 4 and Adams Road, on the report of a traffic crash with injuries. Initial "911" calls indicated that at least one of the drivers was ejected from their vehicle. Preliminary investigation revealed that a white "minivan" driven by a 54 year-old female and a green sedan driven by a 68 year-old female collided at the intersection. The white "minivan" was reported to have been traveling northbound on State Route 4, when at Adams Road the sedan attempted to cross the northbound lanes of State Route 4, traveling westbound, and collided with the northbound "minivan". Both drivers were transported to Miami Valley Hospital with undetermined injuries. The Huber Heights Police Division's "Technical Accident Investigation Team" is conducting the investigation.
Names of the drivers are not being released, pending the notification of their families.
