Vehicle Crash on IR 70 at 35 mile marker
Dec 10, 2006
Author: Sgt. Dulaney

On Dec. 10, 2006 at 0820hrs HHFD crews located a vehicle involved in a single car crash on I70 near the 35mile marker. The vehicle, a blue Chevy truck appears to have lost control while traveling EB on I70. The vehicle then struck a concrete construction barrier and flipped over the barrier. The vehicle came to rest in a dense brushy culvert area, partially submerged in water. The vehicle driver (W/F) has head injuries and indicated that she could not remember if anyone was with her at the time of the crash. After a search no one was located. Additional follow up phone calls to the victim’s family also indicated she was alone when she had left the residence to go to work.

The female was transported to MVH with what appeared to be serious injuries. A traffic crash reconstruction team from HHPD was called to the scene for additional investigation.
There is no further info at this time. For additional comment please call PIO Bruns or Sgt. Gerry Gustin.

Respectfully,

Sgt. Matt Dulaney #12
