Attempted Bank Robbery

On December 1, 2006 at 2:15 pm the National City Bank located at 5116 Brandt Pk. had a robbery attempt. A white male in his early twenties entered the bank and passed the teller a note instructing her to put all of the money in a plastic bag that he produced from his coat pocket. The suspect did not indicate that he had any kind of weapon. The teller told him no and the suspect left the bank with no money. Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area with no success. The suspect was described as being between 5ft 4in and 5ft 7in tall and wore a black coat.
