Author: M. Bruns

On Friday November 10, 2006 at approximately 2:30 pm a Huber Heights police officer while running a traffic enforcement post on State Route 4, observed a vehicle traveling southbound with no license plate. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped up and refused to stop. A pursuit followed with speeds of 65 to 70 mph before the vehicle exited at Stanley Avenue. A short time later the vehicle turned down Stanview Avenue, which is a dead end. The vehicle was occupied by two black males who fled, when the vehicle stopped. A short foot pursuit followed and the passenger was taken into custody. He was identified as Danny Gladden 20 yoa from Dayton. He had two outstanding warrants from Montgomery County. The driver fled on foot and has not been apprehended.

No one was injured.

Inside the car, a loaded handgun was found. Just outside the car another loaded handgun was found along with what appeared to be a medium quantity of crack cocaine.

The driver is described as a black male medium height wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of blue and white Air Jordan gym shoes.
Danny Gladden was transported the Montgomery County Jail.

Huber Height Detectives have been notified and an investigation is underway. Charges may be forthcoming pending an investigation.
